What Would Grace Do? is a photographic collection by Daniel Smith, created in 2023. Set against the backdrop of Monaco and Monte-Carlo, the series captures the principality’s most iconic architectural landmarks and sweeping skylines, all bathed in a timeless, cinematic light.
Inspired by the elegance of silver screen starlets and the golden age of Hollywood, this body of work is a tribute to painted movie sets, painted faces, and the enduring glamour of a bygone era. At its heart, it’s also deeply personal—infused with Daniel’s own memories and moments, reimagined through a lens of nostalgia and visual storytelling.
